Absorption in NIR range is an important characteristic of tetrapyrrolic photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy (PDT). It was shown that introduction of P(V) atom into the phthalocyanine (Pc) ring leads to the red shift of the photosensitizer absorption1, but there are only few works devoted to P(V) Pc’s and they have been never investigated as photosensitizers. In this work we present synthesis and systematic investigation of series of unsubstituted, α- and β-butoxy substituted P(V) Pc’s.
