We discuss few-body scattering problems within the Wave-Packet Continuum Discretization (WPCD) approach. It gives analytical finite-dimensional approximations for few-body free and channel resolvents. This leads to a reduction of the integral scattering theory equations (of the Lippmann-Schwinger- and Faddeev-type) to their matrix analogs in the discrete wave-packet representation with all the energy and momentum singularities being smoothed and averaged over discretization intervals. The approach allows construction of effective interactions between composite particles as well. Several illustrative examples including direct nuclear reactions and elastic and inelastic scattering in 3N system are represented.
