In the present paper, biologically active substances are investigated producing directional effect on biosystems and living organisms. Metal/carbon nanocomposites, modified with ammonium polyphosphate in combination with intercalated therapeutically active substances such as succinic acid and albumin, have been created. Phosphorus-containing copper/carbon nanocomposite is a magnetic particle with a phosphorus oxide bridge which serves as a binder with therapeutically active substances. The initial copper/carbon nanocomposites are copper-containing clusters about 25 nm in size in a shell from carbon fibers containing fragments of polyacetylene and carbyne with unpaired electrons at their joining points. When copper/carbon nanocomposite (NC) mechano-chemically interacts with ammonium polyphosphate (APP), the degree of the oxidation of phosphorus and the copper-cluster magnetic characteristics are changed. The maximum atomic magnetic moment of copper, 4.5 B, is achieved at the NC/APP ratio equal to 1:0.5. The number of unpaired electrons on the carbon shell of a nanogranule increase, which can promote the decrease in the activity of free radicals in the injured areas of an organism. Therefore the obtained magnetic nanocomposites containing therapeutically active substances can be considered as a drug delivery vehicle in a body.
