Аннотация доклада:
The focusing Nonlinear Schrodinger is treated as one of the basic models for describing anomalous (rogue) waves in nonlinear media. We show that for special periodic initial data corresponding to the anomalous wave generation the Cauchy problem admits explicit approximate solution in terms of elementary functions.
