The poster presents an investigation of the rotational motion of small particles up to a few centimeters in diameter under the influence of stellar electromagnetic radiation. The rotation of particles is described by the Euler angles extracted from the general rotation transformation matrix, namely the nutation angle, the precession angle,and the proper rotation angle. For our model solution of the rotation of small particles we used a gravitational and radiation model of the solar system, in which the paramagnetic particle orbits the Sun under its gravitational force and the effect of the solar electromagnetic radiation, i.e., the Poynting-Robertson drag and a torque affecting the spin of the particle. Under electromagnetic radiation the rotation of paramagnetic particles with non- trivial shape, nonspherical with asymmetric momentum, accelerates. At the critical rotational speed the particle splits. This process of accelerated rotation and subsequent splitting of the particle continues to the lower limit of the particle size, equaling to the wave length of the electromagnetic radiation.
