Parameters of the dwarf nova SS Cyg are found from analysis of UBV light curves obtained at quiescence. Masses and radii of the system components are determined using our photometric observations and spectroscopic data from the literature. It is shown that q=Mwd/Mrd ~ 1.45, Mwd ~ 0.66Mo and Mrd `0.46Mo. The orbital inclination i is 52o. The relative contributions of different system components to the total luminosity at quiescence are evaluated. The shape of the mean light curves of SS Cyg at quiescence can be explained by an asymmetric heating of the red dwarf surface by X-ray coming from the energy release region.
