K.Sonin, J.Wilson, A.Wright (2018) considered a Defense/Attack resource allocation model. This model was described by K.Sonin, I.Sonin (2018) in simplified form as follows. Defenders have some number of "locks" to protect n vulnerable boxes (sites), and attackers are trying to destroy these boxes, having m "bombs", that can be placed into boxes. The model has a feature absent in the previous literature. The attackers can test the vulnerability of all sites before allocating their resources, and the test is not perfect, i.e. a test can give plus for a box without a lock and minus for a box with a lock. These papers describe the nature of the optimal strategy for the distribution of bombs in cells and introduce an indicator on which this strategy depends. This report presents the formulation of the model and investigates the properties of the indicator.
