New hydrophobizator- tetra(ethoxy)di (octyl)disiloxane was synthezised and characterized. On the basis of this compounds new hydrophobic coatings on the natural materials (cellulose textyle of different composition) were obtained. The optimal conditions for obtaining coatings with maximal hydrophobicy (the value of the contact angle is 135 ) were determined. The properties of the modified cellulose materials were studied. It was shown the efficiency of use tetra(ethoxy)di(octyl)disiloxane as a hydrophobizator when the content up tu 1% and a relatevely small thicness of the coating.
