A MAE surface layer is modeled. Hard magnetic filler particles with geometric and magnetic anisotropy are considered. Quasi-static model of particle movement in magnetic field is constructed using hyperelastic and Stoner-Wohlfarth energy functionals. Single-particle cells and representative particle ensembles are studied. FEM simulation and energy optimization are used as the main modeling tools. Custom software package is built for modeling purposes. Surface relief function that describes surface boundary deformation for MAEs in magnetic field is proposed. Dependences of the surface relief function on the geometric parameters of the particles and the system are obtained. Surface relief characteristics are calculated for given parameter ranges. Surface displacement profiles and representative surface element sizes are obtained for different input parameters. Limitations of the proposed model are discussed.
