To date, several superconductor quantum cells capable of providing a highly linear voltage response to magnetic signal have bean developed to be used as possible basic blocks for wide band array devices, including active electrically small antennas based on superconducting quantum arrays (SQA). The cells are a bi-SQUID, a differential dc SQUID (DSQUID) and a differential quantum cell (DQC). In the research, we provide comparative analysis of the cells taking into consideration both (i) the attainable linearity and parameter margins and (ii) the load characteristics and allowed output power.
