In this work novel multiplex optical nanostructured biosensing devices, which would be adjusted for commercial routine instruments (microplate fluorimeters and Raman spectrometers) and solid-phase fluorescent and SERS indicator systems for the above mentioned analytes were elaborated. A distinguished future of the proposed optical biosensors is the measurement of emission or scattering of a glass or polymer slide with bio- or chemorecognizing nanostructured films {polyelectrolyte-Ag-nanoparticles-enzyme-indicator reagents} rather than analytical signals of the same indicator reactions in a solution. A unique approach expanding the range of a number of catecholamines and their metabolites which became available for SERS detection due to trapping them into charge – transfer complexes immobilized onto SERS – active nanostructures was developed. As a result, the proposed multiplex optical biosensor solid-phase devices provide rapid, reliable, sensitive and selective analysis of biological samples without preliminary sample treatment.
