Geopolitics is a myth, which became a national ideology, and a medium to perceive the world and the self, and an instrument to construct the reality. Geopolitics easily incorporates new technologies and stretches to new physical and social realms, from land and sea to air, space, information and cognitive spheres. It is a mythically sustainable and universally applicable concept. The new media do not transform the geopolitical mentality. This is geopolitics, which transforms the new media into its instrument of propaganda and manipulation, ignoring the immanent libertarianism and polyphony of the new media.
