Sustained interest to Si nanoparticles, having a crystalline Si core (size d=2÷7 nm) surrounded by suboxide SiOx shell with a bright red and infrared photoluminescence (PL) spectra is caused by their important applications[1]. With increasing d in such hybrid Si/SiOx nanoparticles the quantum-high red shift of the PL band (from 700 to 900 nm) is observed. Furthermore, it was found that the intensity of the PL nanoparticles Si/SiOx may be influenced by laser radiation. In the present study, we studied the dynamics of laser-induced changes in PL intensity of nanoparticles Si/SiOx, obtained from silicon monoxide SiO.
