Carbon nanomaterials are promising products in many industries. Since these materials have high dispersity, their specific surface area is also large, which is very important when used as highperformance sorbents. Effective carbon sorbents for pertechnetate ion are activated carbons, which also have a large specific surface area. On this basis, carbon nanomaterials can also extract pertechnetate ion from aqueous solutions. The sorption characteristics of the diamond-containing charge and ultradisperse diamonds (UDD) with respect to the aqueous solution of potassium pertechnetate were studied as the materials studied. The diamond-containing charge and its product after acid purification of UDD showed high sorption ability with respect to pertechnetate ion (~ 98%) in a neutral medium. In a strongly acidic medium (pH = 1) for UDD, the degree of sorption was 80%. References 1. Ya.A. Obruchnikova, A.A. Shiryaev, A.M. Safiulina, A.V. Karpukhin, I.I. Kulakova, K.E. German.
