Turkey and Korea carry on their long history of exchanges, and increasingly cooperate to secure prosperity and a harmonious regional world order. Ankara and Seoul - strategic partners and middle power members of MIKTA and G-20 - share many common values and norms, and work together for large number of issues. The recent inter-Korean summit and the North Korea-U.S. summit and called for Turkey's active support and cooperation in the efforts for the complete denuclearization of the peninsula and for the establishment of a lasting peace made possible to speak about the rising involvement of Turkey in the cooperation on the Korean Peninsula.
