The problem of a plane electromagnetic wave scattering by a linear cluster of plasmonic nanoparticles accounting for the nonlocal effect is considered. The research is based on the mathematical model of the Generalized Non-Local Optical Response. Based on the modification of the Discrete Sources Method, a comparative numerical analysis of the scattering characteristics in frequency domain is performed depending on the constituent particles geometry and gap between them. It has been found that accounting for longitudinal field produces a significant impact both on the extinction and the scattering cross sections.
