Diamond has a large number of polytypes which were experimentally observed in polycrystalline diamond powders and thin films. Up to now there is no clear opinion whether these polytypes are individual phases or diamond-based defect phases although they were observed in diamond as well as in structurally related compounds (such as SiC). Today a lot of studies are devoted to doped diamonds due to their interesting physical properties. In principle doping is lowering structural perfection of single crystals and at some level can induce structural defects generation. The primary aim of this study was to check doping level influence on HPHT grown diamond single crystals and for the first time the consentient data of stacking faults detection in boron-doped diamond single crystal by means of X-Ray topography, X-Ray diffraction and Raman scattering is presented.
