At the present time, many scientists are looking for the new antibacterial agents both medical and cosmetic using. It is the actual problem. Well known antibiotics can’t cope with the new types of bacteria because of their adaptation to the effects of drugs. For example, synthesis of active nanodispersions stabilized by surfactants isn’t the standard method for development of new antibacterial compositions. The colloids of zinc oxide to be used as nanodispersions. The surfactant Dibutyl(2-(5-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)-2-phenylvinyl)(phenyl)phosphonium chloride containing tetravalent phosphorus was tested as a stabilizing agent of zinc oxide nanoparticles. The main colloidal-chemical characterizations you can see. The peculiarity of this research shows depending of antibacterial activity of zinc oxide particles from their shape and size. Zinc oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by methods described at works. Photomicrography illustrated zinc oxide nanoparticles with different shapes. Research in the field of shapes of zinc oxide nanodispersions shows that particles of rod-like form have a high antibacterial activity. Previously, we established that aqueous solutions of organophosphorus surfactant also shows an antibacterial activity and their stabilizing ability of zinc oxide nanodispersions. In addition, the cosmetic composition showing activity against a number of bacteria has been developed. In the next study of our research work we are planning to advance composition using different organophosphorus compounds.
