Аннотация доклада:
S-band BAC MBK BT258 was developed at VDBT with support of CERN. Two samples of MBK were fabricated and tested at VDBT. Maximum efficiency of 64,5% was obtained at an output level of 6,4 MW. The efficiency in the vicinity of 60% for one of MBKs was successively confirmed in tests at CERN. Comparison of output parameters of MBK with the existing classical klystrons is given in the article.
