We describe the method for calculation of the near-field spatial intensity and polarization distribution of the prolate nanospheroid with the help of the 3D generalized Stokes parameters. Presents the results of the calculations of the near-field polarization degree distributions for the cases when the incident electromagnetic field is a plane wave with linear, elliptical and circular polarization and is the linearly and left-handed circularly polarized Gaussin beam with TEM10. Also we have shown that the resonance fluorescence spectrum of two level atom depends on polarization of incident electromagnetic field.
