Faraday effect is the rotation of polarization plane of linearly polarized light by a magnetic medium caused by magnetic circular birefringence. Because of its non-reciprocity the enhancement of effect magnitude can be achieved by light multipassing inside magnetic medium, for example in thin films or photonic crystals and microcavities. In case of short femtosecond pulse, interference is possible between initial and final parts of one pulse, and Faraday value may change with time. If there are good interference conditions for the pulse, then time dependence of Faraday rotation is constantly increasing. For destructive interference output Faraday dynamics confirms decreasing periods in time dependence in Fabry-Perot resonator.
