In order to determine the main parameters of iron deep level in PbTe and to construct the model of the electronic structure rearrangement under pressure we investigate galvanomagnetic properties (T=4.2-300 K, B<0.07 T) of Pb1-yFeyTe alloys at atmospheric pressure and under hydrostatic compression up to 10 kbar. The investigation of galvanomagnetic properties shows that along the length of the ingot the free hole concentration decreases and reaches saturation at p=6*1017 cm-3 due to the pinning of the Fermi energy by the resonant Fe impurity level located under the bottom of the valence band. Under pressure the Hall coefficient RH at helium temperatures decreases monotonously by approximately four times indicating an increase in the free hole concentration in the alloy. In the whole investigated pressure range value of RH changes with temperature in specific manner: it increases by approximately ten times and passes through a maximum at T=100–120 K. Using obtained experimental results in the frame of the two-band Kane and the six-band Dimmock dispersion relations we calculated pressure dependences of Fermi level and free hole concentration at T=4.2 K and temperature dependences of the Hall coefficient under pressure. The energy of the iron resonant level at atmospheric pressure as well as pressure and temperature coefficients of its movement relative to the middle of the gap are determined. Diagrams of the electronic structure rearrangement in Pb1-yFeyTe alloys under pressure and with increasing of temperature are proposed.
