The author analyzes the length of new frontiers in the total length of the boundaries of the Post-soviet countries and the degree of modern economic development of the region, changes in economic development since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the magnitude of the differences and gradients in the new state borders in Post-soviet countries. The collapse of the Soviet Union has affected most negatively in Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and the South Caucasus. Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan win in economic terms from the collapse of the USSR. The author considers the tendency of putting Russia's position in almost all Post-soviet countries and attempts to create a new wave of economic and political integration within the new established Eurasian Economic Union.
