Na2Ti3O7/C composites as an anode materials for sodium-ion batteries were synthesized via a solid-state and sol-gel methods. Prepared materials have been studied using X-ray powder diffraction analysis, electron microscopy, termogravimetry, Raman spectroscopy and impedance spectroscopy. Na2Ti3O7/C composites obtained in situ and by mechanical mixing with a carbon black exhibit an improvement in capacity compared to pristine sodium titanate. The composites obtained in situ by the Pechini method show the highest electrochemical capacity.
