  This event is organised by Prof. Denis JACQUEMIN, in the framework of his ERC project (MARCHES) and Dr. Adèle D.LAURENT. During conference, these topics will be discussed : 1. METHODS: – Semi-emperical, (TD-)DFT and wavefunction approaches;MPMlogo – Excited state dynamics ; – Hybrid QM/MM methods ; – Recently developed schemes for locating conical intersections. 2. PROPERTIES: – Quantum yields; – Photochemical events; – Competitive reactivity at the excited-state; – Photocontrol and fluorescence imaging. 3. SYSTEMS: – Organic molecules and photochromes – Molecular motors; – Photoactive proteins/membranes/DNA; – ESIPT chromophores.
