  The Frontier of optical coating (FOC) 2017 was held at Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, on October 22-26 2017. The conference is organized every three years, and brings together global scientist, students and technicians in the field of optical coatings. It is one of the top-level platform for presenting latest trends ranging from fundamental research including nano-structures, new materials and coating deposition processes to the novel applications for optical instruments, displays, high power lasers, and space missions.
