  The conference “Nanomaterials for Life Sciences, Batteries and Catalysis” provides a forum for young and experienced researchers from five partner universities from Russia, China, Egypt, and Germany to present their latest research findings and to explore opportunities to intensify international and interdisciplinary co-operation in the fields of ChemBiosensing, Nanomaterials, Electrochemistry, and Catalysis. The conference follows the series of interdisciplinary workshops on “Nano&Bio Interfaces” organized in co-operation with Southeast University (China) and Shandong University (China) and is sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Ulm, and Ulm University. Being a part of the “Strategic Partnerships Program” it will look at potential collaborative research efforts, which might be expressed through joint grant proposals and joint publications, leading to a sustainable partnership based on overlapping research interests.
