  International Congress of Young Chemists "YoungChem2010" is the 8th edition of a successful event, organized annually by students of Warsaw University of Technology. Members of Scientific Society "Flogiston" do their best to let YoungChem get into the first league of "general" chemical conferences in Europe. From its very beginning the Congress of Young Chemists - YoungChem has been an event organized by students and for students (including M.Sc.-s, Ph.D. students, Ph.D.-s and so on). Its main goal is to give an opportunity for young, skilled and ambitious scientists to present to the international audience their areas of research, attend lectures by famous and respectable professors, meet industry representatives and, of course, integrate. Organizers try to create comfortable atmosphere during the conference, keeping at the same time its high scientific level, all of which makes each YoungChem an event to remember. This year Congress will take place in hotel “Murat” (http://www.hotelmurat.pl/) in 06-10.10.2010 near the Gdańsk city. All participants will have to prepare a poster or oral presentation for 15 minutes (including the following discussion) in such scientific trends as: Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, Biotechnology and Biochemistry, Organometallic Chemistry and Material Sciences, Supramolecular Chemistry and Nanotechnology, Organic Synthesis and Catalysis, Other: [suggestions can be accepted] This year our Keynote Speakers will be: Prof. Irena Beletskaya Organic Chemistry Division Moscow State University, Russia Prof. Donald Hilvert Laboratory of organic Chemistry ETH Zurich, Switzerland Prof. Ben L.
