  The report on LIGO’s first direct detection of gravitational waves has significantly increased the public interest in the field, and this has brought new momentum and challenge to the development of TianQin. In this workshop, we will report and discuss the status and progress of technologies related to space-based gravitational wave detection, the design of TianQin subsystems, and the plan for TianQin-related projects, in order that the whole TianQin mission can progressively move forward.
