  The 29th Conference of the European Colloid and Interface Society (ECIS) that was held in Bordeaux, France from 6th to 11th September 2015 is the biggest meeting of the top level scientists such as chemists, physicists, biologists and engineers who have interest in the interdisciplinary field of colloidal and interface science. The conference aimed to cover both fundamental and applied aspects in the fields of interfaces, dispersed systems, complex fluids, micro- and nano-engineered materials with all kinds of elementary naturally occurring or synthesized building-bricks: surfactants, polymers, proteins, particles.
