  Recent research very clearly points to the growing complexity of the expanding plant peptidome. Not only the amount of different plant peptides is increasing but also their modes of action are amazingly diverse (both on the level of receptor kinase-associated signalling and activities independent of this). We are therefore organizing a 3rd workshop in September 2015 (Ghent, Belgium). Compared to the previous meetings, we aim at broadening the focus of this workshop to all different aspects of plant peptides and their in vivo role. As such we want to emphasize the importance of the expanding plant peptidome. Four separate sessions will target the different aspects of plant peptides: Peptides in development Peptides and interactions with other organisms Peptide-receptor interactions Peptide downstream signalling
