  Can Tho University will cooperate with the Animal Husbandry Association of Vietnam and the Vietnam Veterinary Association to hold a National Conference on Animal and Veterinary Sciences in 2015 (AVS 2015). On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to attend this conference on April 29th 2015 at Can Tho University. Objectives are to (i) present and discuss the latest research results in the field of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine (AHVM), thereby giving necessary research orientations in the future; (ii) evaluate the impact of environmental factors, epidemics, market prices and techniques that affect research, production, sales and service activities of AHVM sectors in Vietnam recently; and (iii) establish an information networking system to look for cooperation opportunities on training, research and developmental strategies amongst institutes, universities, departments, companies, associations and others involved in AHVM activities. Contents will be focussed on, but are not limited to, the following topics: (i) Overview of Current Situation and Orientations for the Development of AHVM sector; (ii) Animal Genetics and Breeding; (iii) Animal Feed and Nutrition; (iv) Biotechnology in AHVM; (v) Animal Diseases; and (vi) Animal Production Management and Food Safety. Language used in this conference is Vietnamese or English. Participants are scientists, producers, entrepreneurs and others in Vietnam and abroad who are currently involved in AHVM activities. Articles peer-reviewed by experts and accepted articles will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN number issued by Agricultural or Can Tho University Publishing House.
