Аннотация:The chromatographic behavior of Cu(II), Pd(II), Ni(II), Co(II), and Fe(III) chelates of naphthylbismuthol was studied by thin-layer chromatography on silica gel (Silufol plates). Conditions were selected for the separation of three-component Pd(Ni)-Co-Cu chelate mixtures using mixtures of n-heptane with benzene (chloroform or toluene). It is shown that retention obeys to the Snyder-Soczewinski displacement model and is accompanied by the displacement of one benzene (chloroform or toluene) molecule. At high concentrations of the polar component in the mobile phase, solvates of the composition 1 : 1 are probably formed (this is also true for metal chelates of 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol and (1-(2-thiazolylazo)-2-naphthol).
