Аннотация:A comparative study of the well known non-glycosylated enzyme alpha-chymotrypsin, and its derivative artificially glycosylated with D-glucosamine was carried out to reveale the effect of carbohydrate fragments on oligomeric composition and membrane activity of glycoproteins. A microheterogeneous system of reversed micelles of Aerosol OT in octane, which can be a model of the biomembrane environment of enzymes in vivo, was used as a medium for enzymatic reactions. It was found that the glycosylation of alpha-chymotrypsin makes the protein to be enables to oligomerization and interaction with the micellar matrix (membrane affinity).
