Аннотация:Potentialities of methods of nonlinear optics in highly sensitive pulse polarization measurements are discussed. High-precision laser polarizers and analysers are experimentally developed on the basis of nonlinear-optical frequency converters. A method for increasing the sensitivity of precise polarimetry using light with suppressed quantum fluctuations of polarization parameters is considered. (15 References).
