Ultra high energy cosmic rays (UHECR) orbital detector TUS will operate in various UV night atmosphere background. This background has slow variations, determined by moon light, atmosphere airglow, cloud coverage and fast UV flashes (lightnings, transient luminous events). These transient events will effect trigger system and decrease duty cycle of UHECR detectors especially above thunderstorm regions where frequency of lightnings could be very high. First measurements of these events were performed by UV detectors on-board Tatiana-1 and Tatiana-2 satellites. Based on these data some estimations of TLE frequency, their intensity, energy distribution could be made. The influence of TLE on UHECR detector TUS operation is discussed in the presented work.
