Imaging spectropolarimetry provides information about distribution of light polarization in astrophysical objects both in spectral and spatial domains. Polarization of the radiation is observed in a variety of astronomical objects: AGN and quasars, circumstellar envelopes of the symbiotic stars, supernova remnants, star-forming regions, planetary and protoplanetary nebulae.
